Have you all seen these ads from Jamie Harrison, who is trying to defeat our Republican Senator Lindsey Graham? Having received over $100 MILLION from mostly out of state, Harrison is running ads not only against Lindsey Graham, but also Bill Bledsoe!
Follow me on this…
Bill Bledsoe WAS a third candidate for the U.S. Senate who actually dropped out of the race and endorsed Lindsey Graham. However, by the time Bledsoe left the race, it was too late to remove his name from the ballot. This means when you vote this election, you’ll see options for Lindsey Graham for the U.S. Senate, along with Bill Bledsoe and Jamie Harrison.
So why would Harrison now be running ads against someone who dropped out of the race and, frankly, who was never a factor to begin with? The answer perfectly illustrates just how liberal Harrison really is.
The strategy in attacking Bill Bledsoe now, after he dropped out, is to encourage more *moderate* Democrats to vote for Harrison. (To be clear, there aren’t a lot of moderate Democrats anymore, but that’s beside the point.)
You see, while moderate Democrats may not be inclined to vote for Senator Graham, they also know Jamie Harrison is certainly no moderate. Harrison is about as far-left as they come on many important issues. This leaves those moderate Democrat voters with one other choice on the ballot: the unknown candidate, Bill Bledsoe, which would essentially be a vote against the other two.
By attacking Bill Bledsoe now, this is Harrison’s backhanded way of telling moderate Democrats, “Since you’re probably not inclined to vote for Sen. Graham, remember the other person on the ballot, Bill Bledsoe, is ‘too conservative.’ So therefore you’re only left with one choice: Jamie Harrison.”
If Harrison weren’t part of the radical left, he wouldn’t need to try to manipulate moderate Democrats into voting for him. And he certainly wouldn’t need to attack a guy who has already dropped out of the race.
The way to stop Harrison and his liberal agenda is to (A) spread the word and (B) vote Lindsey Graham for U.S. Senate!
