Council for Citizens Against Government Waste Endorses Ralph Norman for Congress

Rock Hill, SC – The Council for Citizens Against Government Waste (CCAGW) Political Action Committee has endorsed Ralph Norman for the November 6, 2018 election for South Carolina’s Fifth Congressional District.  In a written statement, CCAGW PAC Chairman Tom Schatz commended Mr. Norman and other U.S. House of Representative candidates from South Carolina, calling them “strong and reliable votes to curb government waste and reform Washington.”

Mr. Schatz went on to say, “On top of their impressive voting records, they worked with their colleagues to enact historic tax cuts, support deregulation, and help ignite America’s economic boom. Because of this, I urge South Carolina voters to re-elect them to Congress.”

In response to this endorsement, Ralph Norman issued the following statement:

“Along with other conservative colleagues from South Carolina, I am honored to be recognized for our efforts to reducing unnecessary government spending.

“While are many legitimate needs for federal spending, we continue to spend countless billions of dollars on programs that are either outside the scope of the federal government, or completely unnecessary from the standpoint of fiscal responsibility.

“From my ‘Wasteful Wednesday’ initiatives to my votes in the U.S. House of Representatives, I will continue to fight against unnecessary federal spending.  Taxpayer dollars are sacred, and I simply wasn’t sent to Congress to bankrupt this country.”
