RALPH NORMAN
is a lifelong resident of York County. He joined his father in 1975 at the
Warren Norman Company, a real estate development business his father founded in
1948. Ralph, working with his father, brother and now son, has grown the company
from a small residential property and construction business into one of the
foremost real estate development companies in South Carolina.
Honesty and integrity were woven into the character of Ralph Norman. A strong
work ethic combined with a desire to always help other people succeed has made
him successful in business and his personal life.

Married to the former Elaine Rice of Belton, SC. Ralph and Elaine have 4
children: Ralph Warren 111 and his wife Chrissi, Caroline and her husband Eric
Williamson, Anne and her husband Jon Beckham, and Mary Catherine. They have 6
grandchildren.

STATE REPRESENTATIVE RALPH NORMAN
In November 2009 Norman was elected with a 72% margin of
victory after soundly winning the primary in a special election to replace Carl
Gullick.
In 2004 Norman was elected to serve
District 48 in the South Carolina House of Representatives, winning a 3-way
Republican Primary outright with 52% of the vote. As a State Legislator, Ralph
was known as a consistent voice for conservative reform in Columbia. He fought
to create jobs and keep taxes low for hard working South Carolinians.
He was awarded the Tax Payer Hero Award in
2005. The South Carolina Association of Taxpayers gave him the Friend to the
Taxpayer Award in 2006. He also received The Order of The Palmetto in 2006.
Ralph was recruited by the National Republican Party and ran against Democratic
Incumbent John Spratt for United States Congress in 2006.
As a Congressional candidate, Ralph was endorsed by the National Federation of
Independent Businesses (NFIB), Club For Growth, National Right To Life
Association, Fraternal Order of Police, National Rifle Association (NRA), and
the Taxpayers Union.
